Welcome to MK Partners’ event blog! The newest addition to Creme de la CRM, these posts will focus on everything event related, especially Salesforce events! So sit back, open up your calendars and let’s get planning!
As many of you know, Salesforce announced that all of their 2020 events will be virtual. Even though we are going to miss seeing all of our Salesforce friends around the world, we are excited to be able to virtually attend every event! I know that’s a lot of events, but don’t worry I’ve scoured Salesforce to find different kinds of virtual events that may spark your interest.
Today — May 8, 2020
This upcoming week has a variety of fun events, starting today! At 10am Salesforce Fundamentals: Build Your Sales Skills kicks off! This is actually a 6 week course geared to help you build your Salesforce skills and you will earn a Business Administration Specialist superbadge along the way! Just make sure to have some time on Fridays to be able to join their live call with your fellow community members.
Maybe you don’t want to dedicate your next 6 Fridays to learning, but really want to sit back and ease into the weekend. Well today at 6pm, the CA Women in Tech Group in Irvine are hosting Jammies and Drinks? Yes Please! and honestly we are so onboard! Put on some comfy clothes, grab a drink, turn on that webcam and get ready to relax, laugh and have some chit chat.
Next Week
On May 14th, Salesforce is hosting a webinar event on How to Plan for Business Continuity During a Crisis. Even though some businesses and cities are opening back up, it’s never too late to have a plan! Ever heard of a second wave?
For the first time ever, Dreamin’ will be a virtual experience! Taking place on May 15th, it will run for 24 hours, so regardless of what timezone you are in, you have no excuses not to attend! There are sessions for Admins, Devs and Architects and it’s all free! The keynote speakers consist of Kavindra Patel, VP of Trailheads Strategic Events & Programs, Leah McGowen-Hare, VP of Trailhead Evangelism Salesforce and Peter Chittum, Senior Director of Developer Relations. So… have you registered yet?
For those of you looking forward to Force Academy LA 2020, unfortunately it has moved from May 11th to July 21st. So make sure to block your calendars now, because it is an all day event.
Recap
This last week consisted of some great events as well. Connections in Chicago took place from May 4th to May 6th and the Los Angeles Administrators Group hosted a Distantly Social Cinco de Mayo Party. Tweet us at @mkpartners and let us know which event you attended this last week and which upcoming one you are looking forward to most! If there are any other events you think are worth mentioning, let us know! And, as always, “we’ll see you in the cloud.”
